Mike Pino -
Director of Golf
Mike started in the golf industry in the
early 90’s. Mike is an alumnus of the
Professional Golf Management program at
Grant MacEwan Community College. Mike has
worked at various courses in the Edmonton
area such as Westlock golf club, Sturgeon
Valley Golf & Country Club, Legends Golf &
Country Club and for the second time Goose
Hummock Golf Resort.
Mike had worked at Goose Hummock in 2000
and 2001 as an Assistant Golf
Professional, and in 2004 as the Head
Professional. Recently Mike has been
appointed as the Director of Golf at Goose
Hummock Golf Resort.
As the Director of Golf, Mike brings a
wealth of experience in pro shop
management, public relations, golf
instruction, game knowledge and golf
tournament coordination. . |

Dave McCullough -
Golf Course Superintendent
Dave started in golf course turf
maintenance shortly after leaving the
telecommunication industry in 1999. With
the exception of one season at The Nursery
Golf & Country Club near Lacombe, all his
experience has been at Goose Hummock. To
turn his new vocation into a career, he
returned to college for two years and in
2006, graduated with a Diploma in
Turfgrass Management from Olds College.
Dave received several scholarships while
enrolled at Olds and was the school’s 2006
nominee for the Toro/CGSA Future
Superintendent’s Award. Following several
steps on the career ladder he was promoted
to Superintendent in the spring of 2007. |

Tianna Wosnack -
Food & Beverage Manager
Tianna started in the golf industry in1999
at Goose Hummock Golf Resort. Since
then she has had the opportunity to work
her way up through a variety of positions
and eventually management in 2003.
After 3 gratifying summers, bar-b-qing on
the patio, Tianna decided that customer
service and public relations was her
passion. She enrolled in the Food
and Beverage Management program at Red
Deer College and graduated in 2002 at the
top of her class, receiving 5 highly
regarded scholarships. Throughout her 2
years in Red Deer, Tianna accepted a
supervisory position working for The Keg
at the Caribou Lodge in Banff,
volunteering for the biggest ever Travel
Alberta Conference, volunteering for the
Hospitality Program’s Wine Auction, that
raises money for program scholarships, and
spent a month exploring Italy, developing
a love for culture and a thirst for
adventure. As Food and Beverage Manager,
Tianna is a top performer with the proven
ability to turn ordinary events into
unforgettable memories!
